Ok, here's the deal, I travelled to California with 2 bags and now I will be going back to Fiji with 6, ok...7. I bought marshmallows, chocolate chips and pretzels. Dvd's, pc games and recorded many hours of North American TV. Buzz lightyear cups and jammies and underwear, microwave popcorn, diapers and wipes. Montreal steak seasoning and seasoning salt.. oh, yeah, and my first ebay purchase...I can now sing the Simon&Garfunkal tune "I got a NIKON camera...I love to take a photograph...so mama don't take my kodachrome away..." it's digital and I feel so techno. The list goes on...a booster seat, cordless drill set, mats and hats and teddy bears...I'm hoping immigration leaves me alone with the 2 kids... I don't want to be taking apart all my bags after 10hours of flying through the night and no sleep. come what may, we'll be heading home this week. Ahh, warm weather!

This a.m. in church, the topic in class was love. A "classmate" said that intelligence far surpassed love, and that intelligence was required for love, in his opinion. ?? I'm pretty sure Jesus used ordinary men to be his disciples, I could be wrong but I don't believe there was a singe rocket scientist among the 12!

I read on Steves blog about what Pastors are reading these days .... looks like inspirational stuff. I'd like to see the survey on what Moms with Tots are reading ..... I'm thinking...nuthing..zip, zilch, kootchnay-yee.....

Oh the next day high of Disneyland, sugar, Buzz Lightyear, candy, long lineups, way too short rides, cotton candy, throw in a hotdog for good nutrition, and then a little bit of sleep and you have...voila....the old saying of .... ***this is your brain...( wait for it )... on 3year old!***

We lined up to ride DUMBO the flying elephant for 40minutes and the ride was 1minute, 30 seconds...I timed it. Now there is the place to practice patience.

OH Walmart....your sapphire gates. plenty of choice, no dust and associ-ates......it has been awhile since I knocked on your doors. Nice to see business is booming. Too much for my 3year old. THIS PLACE HAS SO MUCH STUFF MUMMY!! I am buying this and this and this (repeat for 40 minutes)

So, California, here we are. I had forgotten what choices there are over here. California...land of too many options!! You can pick over 30 different kinds of socks for a 3yr old. Whats up with that. And there is also alot of cement here! I have yet to hear any island music and not one bure (villa with a grass roof) shocking to drive on this side of the road after driving on That side for 9months. WIERD WIERD WIERD. stay tuned.

Get this, I am planning on travelling from Nadi, Fiji to California today and I'm packing WINTER clothes.
I put jeans on Alec (3yrs) and he ran to show his daddy his "LONG SHORTS!"
A cool day here is about 26c and a hot day is 36c. I can buy a bunch of bananas for $1FJ. (70cents Canadian) We have a papaya tree in the backyard and the rest of our fruit comes from street vendors!
Have I mentioned there is no Walmart?
