National motto of Canada
Does anyone over there actually know this is our motto? Our REAL one!

"from sea to sea" From Psalm 72:8, "Et dominabitur a mari usque ad mare, et a flumine usque ad terminos terrae" (KJV: "He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth").
It is NOT actually this...
Hey, I'm not a lumberjack, or a fur trader....
I don't live in an igloo or eat blubber, or own a dogsled....
and I don't know Jimmy, Sally or Suzy from Canada,
although I'm certain they're really really nice.
I have a Prime Minister, not a president.
I speak English and French, not American.
And I pronounce it 'about', not 'a boot'.
I can proudly sew my country's flag on my backpack.
I believe in peace keeping, not policing,
diversity, not assimilation,
and that the beaver is a truly proud and noble animal.
A toque is a hat, a chesterfield is a couch,
and it is pronounced 'zed' not 'zee', 'zed' !!!!
Canada is the second largest landmass!
The first nation of hockey!
and the best part of North America
My name is Joe!!
And I am Canadian!!!
I guess both mottos cover the vast differances in all of us. eh.

A friend of mine pointed out that some of the CBC radio people use the "sea to sea to sea" slogan to emphasize a difference we have with those south of the border
hey spaz, how goes it. Good blog. Hadn't been here in a few days. Yeah I'm proud of where I live. Wanna know what us cool Canucks invented? just clinky linky!!! my personal favourite is the Robertson Screw and screwdriver. that's how I roll......peace out K dog. keep it real! lol
