rainy day
At this moment, my two boys are feeling a caffeine buzz like they have never felt before. I had a weak moment in that I shared my iced coffee with them and now Alec thinks he can do moves like "The Matrix" (we never let him watch the movie but our one time next door neighbours let him, unknown to us) Now, equipped with no fear and a coffee buzz, he's all over the place. Elias on the other hand is just running around doing everything and dumping everything. As if I don't have enuf to do. Why did I give them iced coffee? Am I a moron? At least right now, I'm the only one to suffer for my mis-deeds. Craig and Vic and kids should be here soon enuf and then they will join me in my error. It's raining bricks and I can't even send them outside to play. why oh why oh why? I just thought they'd like the flavour, and boy was I right! Never again, all I can say. I also have the mop still out so Elias can't strike too much of a lasting mess. I have never heard thunder crack like it does here. It's scarey since I wouldn't know what to do if a cyclone hit here. In the wake of the tsunami that has hit and the people it has affected, storms worry many of us. One girl I know here has a 'partner' (I guess that means boyfriend) who is in Sryi Lanka and cannot contact him. She is so nervous as to what that means. "All we can do is pray", is her reply to my question of "What can you do?".
The rain continues.
