Did you know that if you eat too much pineapple you can burn the inside of your mouth?
Yet, here I go again.
Today, Alec goes to playschool, while he's there, Elias and I will avoid my exercise (a normal avoidance) and go shopping. We will go to the butcher and the baker and then to the market to buy 'roast beef' wait a minute, I've heard this all before..I mean to the market to buy fruit (pineapple) and veggies. Our banana tree have 4 bundles on it now and soon, we will be sick of them!
The 2.5 hours Alec will be in school will give me enough time to get the shopping done and put away, then off to pick him up again and perhaprs head off to a pool somewhere, maybe even the beach.
The "bula festival" is on here, and it's the loudest, smelliest, muddiest even in Nadi. Ferris wheels that look like they were never CSA certified. Actually most things look like they've never been CSA certified here. Lots of Curry dishes to be had...Steve, it's easier to buy a roti or samosa here than to make it. I stick to Vegetarian and then I know I'll be ok. Good luck on your curry mixtures though!
You can even get tatoos here. An American living in Fiji..sounds like a book...I'm thinking to get a big question mark on my forhead. I wonder what Gerry will get? Kidding. I doubt this will ever happen but it seems like a crazy thing to do. I like crazy. Gerry doesn't. Who knows how we ended up together! Could be we only just met and then got married and then got to know each other! Ahh, well, almost like an arranged marriage. So far, so good. He's a good Husband and a good Dad.
Thanks Ger!
Well, I am eager to see some family. Only 2 or 3 more months. In no time at all they will be here. Craig, Vic, Jasmin, Keegan and Mackenzie, aka Knick-Knack.
Well, dial up time is ticking away. Better split. Still no snow. LOL
Might as well work on the tan.
